The hall has no name. It sits at the end of a service road, a concrete cathedral someone forgot to finish, and when it rains the floor becomes a mirror. That mirror is the whole idea. Every silhouette gets a twin, every neon tube gets a second life in the water, and a piece that looks extreme on a runway looks inevitable here.
Silver first. The opening look is a cropped puffer in high-shine silver, the kind you could buy tomorrow, taken to the edge: the quilting inflated, the shoulders squared off hard, and a quilted train trailing behind her across the water. Mei stood ankle deep and did not move for ten minutes, and the frame did the work.
Then the yellow. An acid faux fur trench worn oversized, shoulders out past the pillars, the fur floating behind her across the black water like a warning light. From the far end of the hall she was a spark in a cave.
Latex took the beauty shot. A black latex midi dress with its neck pushed up to the jaw and a single thread of blue light along the edge, chrome painted across the cheekbones, hair wet and pulled back. No jewellery. The light is the jewellery.
We finished after midnight under a pink tube in the rain: a cloak puffer thrown open like wings over acid green latex, a mirrored visor, silver platforms, Margiela pleats mid spin, and a Mugler corset left exactly as cut over silver pleats fanned across the water, until the concrete looked soft. Every piece is real and every piece is on the rail at the back of this edition. Wear them loud.
